Every part of our experience was a delight: the gorgeous Walnut suite, beautifully restored inn, refreshing pool, amazing breakfasts, and the hospitality of Eric and Traci. This was the perfect base for our first exploration of the Saugatuck/Douglas area, including the location 1/2 block from the beach. 5+ stars in every way! We can’t wait to return."

"We stayed at Forest Inn of Saugatuck in August 2025 for a mother/daughter getaway. Everything was perfect - Walnut room was gorgeous, breakfast was delicious every day, hosts Eric and Tracy were nice and helpful (there if you need help but also not overbearing). Location was great- very close to the public beach access and many biking/walking trails. We enjoyed walks along lake shore and sunsets. Easy to get to town center and also to Saugatuck Dunes State park. We cannot wait to visit again."
