"The Forest Inn combines the charm of a B&B, the amenities of a small luxury hotel, and the great location of a beach resort. The Birch suite was clean, modern, spacious, and quiet. The beautiful sandy beach is literally a block away (and the sunset is extraordinary). The homemade breakfast is ample and delicious. And Eric and Tracy take what it means to be an "innkeeper" to heart - they are friendly, gracious, and eager to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Recommend without any reservations!"

"The Forest Inn is a special place. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Eric. We stayed in the Birch Room which was really nice. The place was totally redone and restored to this modern day Inn. My wife loves art and enjoyed all the art and design throughout. Forest Inn was a perfect location to get to the beach. Great breakfast in the morning with Eric’s homemade granola and Tracy’s special touch. For local restaurants and sightseeing, Eric gave us some great ideas to explore. We will be coming back again."

"My partner and I spent 2 nights at Forest Inn and highly recommend it. The location was convenient and we liked being in the quieter Douglas area. We enjoyed a 5 minute walk to the beach to see the sunset and also strolling along Lakeshore Drive. The breakfast was excellent - nice variety and quality. The Inn which Doug and Tracy recently restored is beautiful inside. The Birch room was modern yet cozy and the vintage detail they brought/restored to the Inn's interior is something special."
